Take One Painting is a first year VFX Project in collaboration with the Production Design and Cinematography departments at the NFTS.
The VFX Students learn how to create digital Set extensions and learn 3D modelling, Texturing, Camera Mapping, Matchmoving, Lighting, Rendering and Compositing.
Students are encouraged to create interesting camera moves within the confines of the set and to storyboard a continuous sequence of shots within a simple visual narrative taken from any clues in the painting.
They also learn how to survey the set and experience directing individual shots.
